From the moment we met him, we knew Chris Dakin was a stand-up guy. During his first days as a Foreman, he successfully took over two difficult projects–restructuring Beverly Hills High School and helping Alex Ellison improve West Hollywood Park–thereby proving that he would always navigate his new role at Pro-Craft with pride and efficiency. As a team player who always goes above and beyond, Chris comes to work every day excited to work hard and learn new things.
Join me in giving Derek Alonso a huge congratulations and an even bigger welcome, as he joins our team as a dispatcher. Derek is a self-starter. He is assertive, a hard worker, and an extremely motivated team player. He comes to us with a history of expertise in Transportation, Logistics management, and Human Resources. This makes him an incredibly effective communicator with co-workers and managers. Derek constantly goes out of his way to help others in any way he can. He is very outgoing and enjoys all sports as well as the great outdoors. In his personal life, two of his favorite things are French bulldogs and Harley Davidson bikes. We are grateful to have such an experienced addition to our team with such a bright personality.
Join me in welcoming Leah Timme as the newest member of our team.
Leah joins Pro-Craft Construction as a financial Controller. She will work directly with our CFO and accounting team. Leah brings 11 impressive years of experience in the Construction Industry and accounting knowledge to boot, Leah worked her way up from a receptionist to a financial controller and excels at incorporating new methods of measuring financial progress and integrating ideas to increase productivity and profitability. She has a strong understanding of the market we work in, as well as the processes required to be successful in each position. Leah’s cooperative mentality exemplifies our Pro-Craft mission, which is why we believe she will be an invaluable addition to our team. She is motivated by the belief that we should never stop growing and improving. She describes the Construction Industry as particularly rewarding and finds it very gratifying to be a part of something built from the ground up, even with all its complexities and curveballs.
Leah received her Bachelor’s Degree and Accounting Certificate from UC Riverside and is one course away from completing an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
On a personal note, Leah is very grounded, has a good sense of humor, enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, and is an LA Galaxy and Lakers fan. She also thinks our company name ‘Pro-Craft’ would be the perfect name for a brewery — just in case we’re ever looking to jump into another business venture.
We are confident that the addition of Leah to our team will only allow us to grow in productivity and profitability while adding to our already strong foundation. We look forward to experiencing Leah’s team-first mindset and implementing her ideas.
We wanted to recognize another amazing employee during last week’s #WomenInConstructionWeek! Please help me congratulate Alyssa!
While she may have only started with Pro-Craft about 3 months ago Alyssa has amazed all of us with the amount of work she can complete. The detail and effort she puts into everything she does is top-notch quality. Alyssa consistently surpasses our expectations and excels at following the Pro-Craft standard operating procedures being a valuable asset to this team.
We are all grateful to know that Alyssa is someone we can count on to get the job done the first time and on time. We have no doubt that we will see her moving her way up the ladder soon. Thank you Alyssa for everything you do!
In honor of #WomenInConstructionWeek, we want to spotlight Leslie!
Since day one Leslie has shown great ability to learn and apply experience to her position. Her past experiences have allowed her to quickly learn and integrate into the Pro-Craft way and have led to a quick and painless training process. Leslie has met and exceeded many of our expectations as we were in need of emergency personnel in a department that Leslie had little training in, but quickly helped the team get through the event seamlessly.
We are so proud to have Leslie on our team and are looking forward to continuing working with her.
Help me in congratulating Tim Yost, as he is this month’s employee spotlight! Without Tim’s patience and quick responses to any and all issues that may arise within Pro-Craft, many would be lost. I think I speak for everyone when I say, without Tim, many wouldn’t be able to do their jobs at the level of efficiency we strive for. We are very lucky to have you Tim and proud to call you a Pro-Craft employee!
We have another employee spotlight. Let’s all congratulate Greg, a.k.a. Stilly! This dedicated, hard-working Operator has been with Pro-Craft Construction for almost 10 years and we are lucky to have him. Greg is someone that you can count on no matter the situation. He always has the best attitude and understands the goals and timelines Pro-Craft sets.
Greg started as a Laborer and has worked to be where he stands today. He is one of the most respected team members at Pro-Craft and has all the skills necessary to perform his job to the highest standards. Thank you for all you have done for us, Greg. We are looking forward to the next 10 years.
This month we are spotlighting Everett, a long-time family friend of Pro-Craft. He was introduced to plumbing by our founder, Tim McFayden himself at an early age. Everett is highly skilled in all areas of plumbing from service to repair, new construction, site utilities, process piping, and medical gas. On top of his plumbing skills, Everett is known for closing out complex projects with a knack for customer service. For the past 10 years, Everett has helped shape Pro-Craft and we are proud to have him on this team. We can’t thank him enough for all of his hard work.
Please help me in congratulating Joe Hope as he is this month’s employee spotlight. Joe joined the Pro-Craft Team in May 2019 as a pipelayer and worked his way up to Site Utility Foreman. One of Joe’s notable projects was having to install 60,000 ft of pipe in only 100 days. His talents quickly showed that he was ready to run work and once promoted his passion for the trade, professionalism, and sense of urgency really started to break the barriers.
Thank you, Joe, for all your hard work and dedication to Pro-Craft!
It is time to spotlight another Pro-Craft team member for their outstanding work ethic and dedication to the company. This week we are recognizing Tyler Levitt! Tyler is an ABC Apprentice and one of our Movers and Shakers in the field. He is known for getting things done on the job quickly and safely.
Thank you, Tyler for all your hard work with this team!
